    Im dritten Quartal wurden nach Angaben des Statistischen Bundesamtes in Deutschland 29,0 Mio. hl Bier abgesetzt. Das waren 0,5 Mio. hl oder 1,6 Prozent weniger als im gleichen Vorjahreszeitraum. In den Zahlen nicht enthalten sind alkoholfreie Biere und Malztrunk sowie das aus Ländern außerhalb der Europäischen Union eingeführte Bier. Biermischungen waren im dritten Quartal mit 0,9 Mio. hl oder 3,2 Prozent am gesamten Bierabsatz beteiligt; das ist ein Plus von 11,6 Prozent gegenüber dem dritten Quartal 2004.
