Zum 1. Januar hat die GastroFix AG die Internet Abteilung in eine 100% Tochter ausgegliedert. Die buyunity GmbH erforscht, entwickelt und vermarktet E-Commerce Systeme (Onlineshops, Malls, ASP Lösungen) und derren Schnittstellen zu anderen Systemen. Darüber hinaus betreibt sie die Gastronomie Community gastro.de und den darin integrierten Handelsplatz für die Gastronomie, Hotellerie und Gemeinschaftsverpflegung.
