Für dieses Rezept kann man sowohl frische als auch aufgetaute Scampi in der Schale mit oder ohne Kopf verwenden. Die Scampi waschen und trocknen. Dann auf Spieße reihen oder am Rücken einschneiden, den dunklen Faden entfernen und aufgeklappt auf den Grill legen. Scampi sofort mit dem gewürzten Öl bepinseln und während des Grillens gut beobachten, denn sie können schnell zäh werden.
